We strive to reach as many people as we can. we have many ministries that cater to everyone's needs. It is important to be active in the church as well as the community. We hope that we can be of assistance in any way, shape or form to our members and our community.
The Deacon/Deaconess ministry is responsible for ministering to the needs of church members and offering support to the pastor according to Acts 6:1-8 and I Timothy 3:1-8. Each member of the church is assigned to a deacon cluster according to the first letter of their last name.
The Usher ministry regularly participates in worship services and assists with literature distribution; welcoming, directing, and seating guests and other as needed; and collecting offerings.
The Hospitality ministry is responsible for greeting visitors and members and distributing visitor cards during all services as well as correspondence with visitors. The culinary team is responsible for planning and coordinating all meals served on church grounds.
The Pastoral Care ministry is responsible for providing hospitality support to the Pastor and guest ministers.
The transportation ministry is responsible for safely transporting participants to and from church-related or church-sponsored activities. All drivers must have a current TXDL and good driving record. The security ministry is responsible for making sure the grounds of the church both, inside and out are kept safe during all services on campus.
The Senior's ministry is responsible for planning and coordinating activities for the senior citizens of the church. the Seniors ministry also includes the grandparent's program which allows the youth and senior citizens an opportunity to bridge the gap and adopt each other.
The Women's ministry is responsible for planning and coordinating activities for women of the church to promote fellowship and spiritual growth and to address special needs of women.
The Men's ministry organizes and leads the ministry that builds up and helps the men of the church become spiritual leaders and provides an avenue of outreach to men in the community.
The divorce ministry is a support group for members and visitors going through the hardship of divorce. The Bereavement ministry is responsible for contacting families on behalf of the church during time of bereavement through cards, flowers, etc.
The youth church/youth ministry is responsible for providing supervision and assisting the youth activities coordinator as needed during activities that promote fun, fellowship, spiritual development and ministry involvement among youth.
The nursery care givers provide proper care and nurturing to babies and toddlers (ages 0-3) during church services and special events.
The Scholarship Committee fundraises, selects, and distributes scholarships to high school students and members of Arlington Park who are going back to school.
